Meetpolis works because people show up in good faith. These guidelines say what is and isn’t okay. Breaking them can mean we remove content or close the account.
Be respectful
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or intimidation. Treat everyone with respect.
No dating or romantic solicitation
Meetpolis is for low-pressure social plans, not dating or hookups. Romantic or sexual solicitation isn’t allowed.
Adults only, sensible about alcohol
Meetpolis is 18+. Don’t involve minors. Don’t organize alcohol-centred meetups.
No scams, spam, or impersonation
No fraud, pyramid schemes, advertising, fake events, or pretending to be someone you’re not.
Protect privacy
Don’t share other people’s personal details, photos, or contacts without consent. Don’t leak private group chats.
No illegal content or event abuse
No illegal content of any kind. Don’t submit external events to harass organizers, collect attendees’ data, or mislead people about what an event is.
