FAQ
Common questions.
Is this a dating app?
No. Meetpolis is for low-pressure social plans. No swiping, no profiles-first browsing, no romantic framing.
Is Meetpolis live in my city?
Poznań is in early access. Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław and Gdańsk are on a waitlist. Any other city can be requested.
What if my city isn’t active yet?
Join the waitlist and submit an event you’d attend with others. We open cities once enough people there want the same kinds of activities.
Can I use it if I’m not a student?
Yes. Students and newcomers are who we’re starting with, and everyone is welcome. Expats, remote workers, and locals rebuilding their social life all belong here.
Do I have to host?
No. You can just tap “I’m in” on plans others post. Hosting is a tiny commit: paste a link or pick an activity.
Is joining free?
Yes. Joining, posting, and chatting in groups are free.
Are events run by Meetpolis?
No. External events are run by their organizers. We help people go together. Verify event details on the original page.
Can I change city later?
Yes. Switch any time from the Home header or Settings. Your home city stays unchanged so your profile context doesn’t reset.
Which languages are supported?
The app follows your phone’s language and falls back to English. The languages you pick for meeting people are separate. Choose as many as you like.
